Advisory Board
Dear Parents and Community of Marin Catholic,
This year promises to be an exciting year for the community of Marin Catholic High School. The new John Paul II Student Center is now completed and in use. The fall sports, performing arts, and spiritual programs are in full swing. The Marin Catholic Parent Advisory Board (PAB) members, made up of parents
from throughout the Marin Catholic Community, have been busy.
We have decided to focus on a few key initiatives for the 2009-2010 school year, and they are:
1. Marin Catholic Spirit Initiative
2. Student Wellness, Safe and Sober Initiative
3. School Administrative support through the upcoming WASC
4. Launch the MC Parent Community of Care website
For those of you who might not be familiar with the PAB, our mission statement is as follows:
The Marin Catholic High School Parent Advisory Board's mission is to act in an advisory capacity to school administration with respect to the administration's immediate and near-term goals and objectives. The Board
will make recommendations to support, foster and promote a college preparatory Catholic education to benefit the entire school community while upholding the school's core values of faith, knowledge and service.
The Parent Advisory Board meets the third Wednesday evening of each month at 6:30 pm in the school library. The meeting is open to any Marin Catholic school family adult (past or present) who is interested in helping further the mission of Marin Catholic High School.
