Members of the entire MC community came together to assemble care packages for soldiers in Iraq. The project, organized and run by the Advisory Board, has been an incredible success.
One forum for parent expression that has proven especially productive over the years is the Marin Catholic Parent Advisory Board. The board meets monthly and is composed of representatives from all walks of school life. It has served as a wonderful idea generator, a sounding board, an organizational arm, and a coordination point for the various groups that do so much for Marin Catholic. Many of the programs that are now a part of the fabric of MC can be traced back to the Advisory Board including the Patrons of the Arts, the school marketing program, and the parent education seminars.
