OPEN HOUSE
First and foremost students and parents should plan on attending our community-wide Open House on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 2:00-4:30 p.m. The Marin Catholic Open House highlights our academic program, student leadership opportunities, campus ministry, the arts, athletics, and introduces you to members of our community. This is a full 2 1/2 hour program. Please plan on arriving in the gym promptly at 2:00 p.m. No need to RSVP.
We strongly encourage eighth grade students to schedule a visit. Time spent visiting Marin Catholic during the school day is invaluable. It is your opportunity to be an MC student for the day.
Students should arrive for their visits by 8:25 a.m. and will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m. The day begins with a guided tour of the campus. At 8:55 the student is introduced to their MC guide and then has the opportunity to sit in on three morning classes and enjoy a snack from our cafe. During lunch the visiting student will participate in a lunch-time discussion with our students leaders. Students will learn about opportunities for involvement in the arts, student government, athletics, clubs, activities and more. Lunch will be provided. Our goal is that no student goes away with any unanswered question.
Thirty students will be accommodated on each scheduled visit day. We will begin making appointments for student visits on Monday, August 20, 2012.

PARENT OPPORTUNITIES
There are a variety of ways for parents to become familiar with Marin Catholic. Please read the description of events that follow and choose one or more that suits you.
Parent school-day tours are available by appointment. Parent tours begin at 9:00 a.m. with a round table discussion and introduction to the school's philosophy. Following this introduction parents are given a tour of the campus, meet a variety of teachers and learn more about the curriculum. This visit allows for small groups of parents to experience life on the Marin Catholic campus during a regular school day. Please call (415) 464-3810 (after August 20, 2012) for an appointment.

Fall 2012 Prospective Parent Information Nights:
Marin Catholic will be hosting three regional Prospective Parent Information
Nights for parents of junior high school students. These evenings provide prospective parents the opportunity to hear about the school, meet administrators, faculty members and current parents. The evenings are informal and designed to encourage conversation and answer your questions.
