For those interested in playing summer league basketball, please see the following general overview and schedule.

Spring:
Open Gym April 1 - End of May - TBD
*MC gym closed May 23 – May 29 for finals
 
First Day of Summer Workouts – Tuesday, June 4
Varsity Practice – Tuesday & Thursday 5-7pm at Marin Catholic
Varsity Scrimmage (location & time TBD)
OFF - Wednesday, July 3- Monday, July 8
Last Day of Summer Workouts – Sunday, July 21

Friday, June 7-Sunday, June 9: Varsity Tournament at Justin Siena
Friday, June 14-Sunday, June 16: Varsity Overnight Team Camp @ Chico State
Saturday, June 22-Sunday, June 23 :  Jamboree at St Mary's College (1 or 2 days?)
Friday, June 28-Sunday, June 30: Possible Tournament
Friday, July 12-Sunday, July 14:  Varsity Tournament at Novato High

Frosh/JV - see practice/scrimmage/tournament schedule above for Varsity. When you don’t have summer league or a tournament you can come to Varsity events

Cost for Incoming Freshmen - TBD, deadline is June 12. Check payable to Marin Catholic High School.

How do I pay and/or sign up for MC summer basketball?
You can bring the checks to the first week of practice or first day of the Frosh/JV Novato Summer League.
 
How do I know if I am supposed to go to the Varsity practices/scrimmages or the Novato Summer League?
If you played Varsity or JV this past season (2018-2019) then plan on attending the Varsity events.  If you played on the Freshmen team this past season (2018-2019) or are an incoming Freshmen please plan on attending the Novato Summer League.
**We will let you know if we want you to attend the Varsity events instead of the Novato Summer League as well as ask JV players from this past season to play in the Novato Summer League if we are short on numbers.**
 
I played on the Freshman team last year and/or I am an incoming freshman... can I attend Varsity events when I don't have summer league?
Absolutely!  But we cannot guarantee playing time... that will be determined on numbers and level of competition.  It is a great opportunity to learn about our culture & begin to learn our system!
 
When will we know the tournament schedules?
Typically, the tournament director will get the schedule out at least a week ahead of time.  We will communicate with you as soon as we receive the schedule.
 
Do we need a jersey for summer league?
We will provide you with a jersey top.
 
What is the Novato Summer League Schedule?
TBD
 
Fall:
Open Gym - Late-August - End of October, Mondays/Wednesdays from 7:30pm-9:00pm

Basketball Tryouts:
First day of pre-season tryouts - Monday, November 4
