Welcome Class of 2024!

CONGRATULATIONS & WELCOME TO THE INCOMING FRESHMAN CLASS OF 2024!
MARIN CATHOLIC WILDCATS LACROSSE

Welcome to our newest class - the 2024 Wildcats!

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Marin Catholic student athletes must respect all guidelines to ensure a safe environment for fellow students and their families who wish to enjoy the athletic experience.

The Marin Catholic Lacrosse Program offers a complete experience for young men in the Bay Area. We offer Junior-Varsity and Varsity teams, making the game safe and accessible for all high school ages.

Marin Catholic competes competitively in the Marin County Athletic League (MCAL). Many of our players have gone on to play after high school, including in the NCAA and MCLA (College Club).

While the athletic season will allow your son to grow as a lacrosse player, we also focus on the development of character, team values, and sportsmanship. Being a part of the Marin Catholic lacrosse family is a commitment: it will help your child understand the values of hard work, dedication, and respect.

Marin Catholic has a rich history of combining academic and athletic success, and we aim to honor those traditions every spring by striving for our best in the classroom and on the athletic fields.

Practice begins the first week of February. The JV season runs through the first week in May. The Varsity season runs through mid-May, depending on playoff results. Practices are held on the football field at MC. Our conditioning and weight room sessions are held at Marin Catholic's beautiful variety of facilities. During COVID we are experiencing different scheduling - so we will keep you posted on the varying schedules when they are released.

Beginners are welcome! We can convert any good athlete into a lacrosse player. For incoming freshman - we recommend that coaches inspect their gear to make sure that it is safe. Lacrosse at the high school level is a very physical sport - and the best gear means the best protection. We take the safety of our student-athletes seriously, and have many options of protective equipment available for the students to borrow or purchase.

We look forward to welcoming you into the Marin Catholic family.

See you soon.
