Marin Catholic Competes in TEAMS Championship

Top scholars from Marin Catholic recently returned from the National TEAMS Championship in Washington, DC where they represented Marin Catholic and the state of California in an oral and problem solving competition. TEAMS, an acronym for Test of Engineering, Aptitude, Mathematics and Science, is an annual competition focused on STEM.
After placing 1st in their division (8th out of 710 teams in the nation) at the TEAMS competition at Stanford in February, the team became qualified to compete in the TEAMS Championship in Washington DC.

Months of preparation for the championship resulted in the team ranking 8th for the oral competition. The group enjoyed the competition and learned a lot about water infrastructure and some of the latest technology regarding the purification of water.

Congratulations to the Marin Catholic team on their accomplishment!
