On Tuesday, October 20, MC Environmental Club leaders attended the Brower Environmental Youth Awards Ceremony at the beautifully renovated Herbst Theater in San Francisco. They were shown the stories of six individuals who have pushed for monumental environmental change in their communities across the country and witnessed the influential effects of their work. We were inspired by their commitment to the environment and their unwavering perseverance and hope for creating a better future. These young people reminded us that we don’t have to have a college degree to make a difference. With ambition and passion we have to power to make a difference here and now.
