MC is Now Fair Trade Certified!
Marin Catholic has reached its goal of becoming an official Fair Trade certified school!
Marin Catholic has reached its goal of becoming an official Fair Trade certified school! In order to kick off our certification, The Fair Trade Committee held a Faire on Wednesday, November 18. The Faire was intended to further explain to the students what Fair Trade is and why this certification is so important to our mission as a Catholic school. Students were also invited to sample a variety of Fair Trade certified products such as lotions and soaps as well as cookies and other baked goods.
This is an exciting time for Marin Catholic because we are officially the first school in Marin to earn this certification and it compliments our Catholic mission perfectly!
