Freshmen Serve at Warner Creek

On Friday, April 28 approximately 20 freshmen and their parents volunteered to host a spring carnival at the Warner Creek senior apartment community.  While there, the student volunteers got to know and bond with many of the residents enjoying lunch, gardening, bingo and a raffle.
Each season of the school year, there is a MC Parent Advisory Board-organized volunteer activity for freshmen.  These events include feeding the hungry at Glide Memorial Kitchen, bowling with special friends from Jessica’s Haven and a carnival for the Elderly at Warner Creek Apartments

MC students and their accompanying parents made a difference for the people they served that day, by treating them with dignity and compassion.
