    Sophomore Overnight Retreat #1

Additional details about the sophomore retreat, including a packing list, permission slip, and more, can be found on the Sophomore Class Page in MC Connect. Click on "Topics" and then "Sophomore Retreat".

The theme of this retreat is "Strengthening Your Core." This retreat is mandatory for our sophomores this year, as we know for many of them it is their first experience with an overnight retreat and encountering Christ outside of the MC campus. The retreat participants will devote time to physically strengthening their cores with physical exercise and fun activities to mirror the time they will spend purifying and strengthening their inner cores with prayer, discussion, and reflection. Through prayer, group work, and personal reflection activities, retreat participants will be invited to a deeper relationship with themselves, God, one another, and the greater community.

This one-night overnight retreat is mandatory. Students have been placed in one of the four retreats that are offered and Ms. Castro Teets has emailed the September attendees specific details that can also be found on the 10th grade class page in MC Connect.

    Location: Alliance Redwoods in Occidental
    Cost: $225

    Back to School Night

*We strongly encourage that each family only send one parent if possible, but we also realize most of you have multiple children here which means you have to divide duties.

We look forward to seeing our Marin Catholic families at Back to School Night. In each class, you will receive an overview of the course expectations and insight into the daily experience of the students. You will also hear some recommendations on how you can support your student in each class, including ways to inspire self-advocacy.

We are asking that you utilize this schedule by printing it out and going over it with your student. You will follow your student’s 7 period A-G schedule. Please bring this schedule with you.

For those new to our community, a campus map may be helpful as you navigate through your child's schedule.

Please note: Back to School Night is for parents only.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday night.
