We have an amazing addition to our coaching staff, Loren Shealy. 
Loren played at UNC, for TEAM USA and was the 2013 Sports Illustrated Female College Athlete of the Year.  She will be working with both JV and Varsity to support gameplay & skill development. Loren recently moved to the Bay Area and we are so lucky to have her!
 

SUMMER CAMP OPPORTUNITIES
 
Marin/SF Camps
 
Next Level Camps - we have expanded the camp to rising sophomores and it will be a great opportunity to play and be coached by me and MC seniors. Lots of skill-building, small-sided games, and scrimmaging.
 

Leap Academy
 
JULY Rippers is offering two July camps this summer: one for incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and one for high school players. The first half of practice will cover stick skills and drills, followed by two 25-minute halves of scrimmages (so attendance is very important). The goal is to provide a lot of competitive playing time to prepare players for gameplay and to have fun! There are limited spots available to give everyone ample scrimmage time.
July skills and scrimmage camp for incoming 9th graders and up - (for players with field hockey experience) - LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE
  • Beginning July 11th and running through the week of July 27th
    • 2 practices per week - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-5pm
  • Location: Ghilotti Turf Field, Redwood High School
  • Cost: $380
Greater Bay Area Camps
 
Stanford field hockey camp 
FYI - No overnight Stanford camp this summer. They are redoing their field hockey field.

Davis Field Hockey Camp
 
AUGUST PRE-SEASON TRAINING UPDATE
For the week of August 7th, we will be planning to do tryouts from 9:00-11:00 am each day and the following week of August 14th from 3:30-5:30 pm including the first day of school on August 18th.
 
MCAL SEASON SCHEDULE
TENTATIVE
Note - this is MCAL only and dates are not finalized. We will be adding non-league games in August and right now we have a tournament in Davis on Sat, October 14th scheduled. 
 
 
TEAMS
There will be two levels: JV & Varsity, with each team carrying a roster of 20-25 players. 
 
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR TRYOUTS & PRACTICE
- field hockey stick (if you need to borrow one, please email Patty)
- running shoes/cleats
- shin guards (field hockey specific ones needed post-tryout)
- mouthguard
- athletic attire
