WELCOME TO MARIN CATHOLIC ATHLETICS
GO CATS!! At Marin Catholic, our athletic program offers more opportunities than any school north of the Golden Gate Bridge. With 29 sports, 49 individual teams and over 85% student participation, the Wildcats traditionally finish at or near the top in the Marin County Athletic League standings. Additionally, almost every one of our teams earn North Coast Section Scholastic Team Awards, with many varsity teams winning NCS Scholastic Champion awards. Our students' commitment to academic and athletic excellence makes Marin Catholic a great community for shaping and inspiring well rounded young men and women.
All student-athletes must have a Physician's Clearance form signed by their doctor and uploaded into MC Connect. The form can be found under the "Summer Info" button in your MC Connect Resources. Each clearance is good for one year. If a student does not have a clearance turned into MC Connect, they will not be permitted to practice or compete. Please note: Parents must log in to their own MC Connect account (not their student's) to upload the form.
Steps to complete the upload process:
Log in to the parent MC Connect account.
Click on the link in the yellow banner at the top of your screen.
Click on the green "Review" button on the right side.
There are two remaining dates scheduled for Impact concussion testing (read this letter for more information about the program). This testing is free, easy, and offered to every MC student. We highly recommend that ALL students take advantage of this testing.
We would like students to have a new baseline every two years. Ideally, students will get a baseline as a Freshman and a Junior. If you are unsure if your student-athlete needs a new baseline, you can contact Jamie Waterman directly at email@example.com.
Basics of the test:
Remaining Dates: August 16 & 17 (Any athlete playing a Fall sport should plan on testing on one of these dates. Student athletes cannot miss practice for testing). No need to sign up, just show up on your preferred date. These will be the only dates for baseline testing this school year.
Location & Time: Testing will take place in classrooms 904 and 905 at 1:00pm and 2:00pm on each day. Testing takes approximately 45 minutes but will only begin once everyone arrives so, please be on time.
What to bring: Each student will need to have a charged laptop with a Google Chrome browser.
