THANKSGIVING MASS & GRANDPARENTS DAY

Friday, November 22, 2019
10:00-11:30am
Mass in the Gym
Reception to Follow in the Student Center

As we move into the Thanksgiving Season, we look forward to honoring the special bond between Grandparents and their Grandchildren. Please help us make Friday, November 22 a special day. Students and staff recognize and give thanks for all the blessings in their lives, and share these sentiments with our dear grandparents on campus.

Mass will begin at 10:00am in the Freitas Memorial Gymnasium with students, faculty, and staff. A reception with tea & cookies will follow in the Saint John Paul II Student Center.

Since parking is limited, please drop off grandparents and return to campus to pick them up after the reception at 11:30am. For those grandparents who are driving themselves, there will be limited parking on a first-come, first-served basis.

In the event that we will be using overflow parking, golf carts will be available to assist Grandparents from their car to Mass. After the Mass, Grandparents can use the elevator to assist them to the Student Center if needed.
  • Students who do not have a guest will be given a snack in their respective class halls immediately following Mass.
  • All students will head back to F Block class at 11:30am after they eat.
  • Student dismissal for the day is 1:35pm.

The Thanksgiving Food Drive sponsored by Marin Catholic's NHS club will run through Friday, November 18. The food donations benefit the Marin Food Bank which serves hungry Marin County residents.
