Marcus Peter Published in Homeltic & Pastoral Review Magazine
Marin Catholic is thrilled to announce the publication of a magazine article in Homeltic & Pastoral Review written by our newest Theology teacher, Marcus Peter.
Marin Catholic’s new Theology teacher, Mr. Peter, was recently published in religious magazine Homiletic & Pastoral Review. The article “Christ, Melchizedek, and the Eucharistic Sacrifice” covers the relationship between the Old Testament high priesthood of Melchizedek and the New Testament eternal high priesthood of Christ. After eight years of involvement in research of Covenant Theology, Peter developed an understanding for some of the essential concepts of the faith. He was driven to write something through which he could share his discoveries about Scripture as he recognizes that its insights are, “in some ways, novel, and, in some ways, ancient” and can bring others to dive deeper into the Bible and Catholicism.
