Cancer Awareness Club Participates in Making Strides Walk
The Cancer Awareness Club participated in the San Francisco Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Saturday, October 22.
The Cancer Awareness Club participated in the San Francisco Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Saturday, October 22. It was great to have the varsity football team walking with the student club members, the parents and the faculty and staff who joined the MC Strides Team. Thank you to all who donated to the team and congratulations to the students who raised significant funds: Maddie Kessler, Coco O'Brien, and Jack Wirth, and parent Cristy McDowell and the Girls' League and Cancer Awareness Club members who helped with the bake sale. So far the entire MC Strides Team has raised $3,500. Donations are accepted until December. Go Cats!
