Marin Catholic has a vibrant spiritual life on and off campus. Daily prayer over the public address system and 7:30am. Mass starts the school day. Parents are welcome to join in all our eucharistic celebrations. Students participate in numerous ways in the ten school liturgies each year. Each Mass is hosted by a particular student group (grade level, particular club, or student organization) and the MC Liturgy Choir leads the congregation in song.

Other seasonal liturgies and prayer services run throughout the year. Reconciliation is offered during Advent and Lent, as well as lunch-time Mass. This past year the Thanksgiving Prayer Service was led by Senior Speakers attesting to what they were thankful for and was attended in conjunction with Grandparents Day.

The St. Vincent de Paul Club and the Respect Life Club are vibrant organizations that live out the gospel values. Numerous drives are held each year to help those less fortunate. This past year, monies were sent to the Fusco Children's Home in the Phillipines, to Hurricane Katrina Victims, and local people in need.

The Campus Ministry Department, led by the team of Peggy Semling, Gregory Joseph & Nicole Ferris, offers students a chance for numerous leadership opportunities. All retreats have a core team of students who assist the Campus Ministry Team in the planning and execution. This student core team puts hours into training and preparation, and most report that they got out much more than they put into the experience. Some of these trained leaders have also assisted in confirmation retreats and have reached out to the community around us. Many alums stay in touch and still are involved in our programs.

Our programs all are motivated by a sense of developing both personal and communal spirituality. Discernment is encouraged while reflecting on the values of the gospel and the teachings of Jesus and applying these to our culture today. If you wish to learn more about the Catholic faith, we welcome your questions.

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love:
Where there is injury, pardon:
Where there is doubt, faith:
Where there is despair, hope:
Where there is darkness, light:
And where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console:
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

- Prayer of St. Francis

In the spirit of Faith, Knowledge and Service, our school motto, Marin Catholic strives to give each student a sense of compassion, peace, and connectiveness to each other and God while exhibiting the gospel values taught to us by Christ. While in educating the whole person, we avail our students of the opportunity for prayer, reflection, fellowship and service. Campus life at Marin Catholic gives venues for spirituality readily available to our students.
"Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly with your God."
