Marine Science Students Study Tide Pools in West Marin

Marine science students recently took a field trip to Duxbury Reef in West Marin to study tide pools. In class, students spent a decent amount of time studying marine invertebrates (porifera, mollusks, cnidaria, arthopods, and echinoderms) as well as marine plants and algae. This trip allowed students to make connections between the material learned in class and the organisms in their natural environment.
