Coach DeMartini and Saia with Milestone Victories
Rick DeMartini (500) and Mike Saia (100) earned milestone victories!
Rick DeMartini eaned his 500th victory with the Ladycats with a win over Tamalpais in the MCAL Playoffs. This honor goes along with an Califorinia Coach of the Year, NCS Honor Coach, and Marin Catholic Hall of Fame induction. The Women's Team Room is also named after the famed coach. Congrats to Coach Rick DeMartini.
It took Mike Saia less than 5 years to pick up 100 victories for the Men's Varsity Basketball team. Averaging over 20 wins a year is small potatoes though compared to the impact he has had on his players on and especially off the basketball court. Mike was recognized before the first round of the NCS Playoffs, a game his team would go on to win at home.
