MC Students & Parents Volunteer at Raphael House

Marin Catholic Students and parents spent a day volunteering at the Raphael House in the tenderloin. Students Anna Olivia, Taylor Powers and Kaleigh Sinnott prepared a three course meal, served the families in the shelter, cleaned and prepared the tables for breakfast and prepard the meal for a donor luncheon scheduled for the next day.

The shelter is for families in the tenderloin district of San Francisco. Their mission is to help at-risk families achieve stable housing and financial independence while strengthening family bonds and personal dignity.

Terry Powers organized the outing and previously worked for the shelter.
