Alumna Kellis Johnson '06 makes a return to the MC as a JV coach and a specialized goalie coach. During her time at MC, Johnson broke school records by holding a current record no more than 4 goals in a season and had a record breaking shut out. During her senior year in high school she was having a hard time in deciding where she should go to college. She thanks Mr. Novak for being a major influence in her decision making and helping her make the decision to go to CU Boulder as a preferred walk on for soccer. "The largest reason why I am back is because the MC program affected my life so immensely and so positively that I want to give back to MC.” - Johnson

Sara Young '17, one of this year's captains had the opportunity to join some of the best soccer players in the region in an Olympic development team. She embarked on different stages from her club team to state team which ultimately lead her to a camp in Oregon to compete with a total of 60 players. From those 60 girls, 20 girls are chosen to be part of the regional team. Young has recently committed to UC Irvine to play soccer. Congratulations, Sara!
