On Friday, December 15, we celebrated our Advent Mass. Advent is the liturgical season of waiting and preparing. At the Advent Mass we prepared our hearts to celebrate Christmas, the anniversary of Christ’s first coming, but we also continue to prepare our hearts for when we get to meet Christ again. Nine students in the Sacraments program were presented before the whole school in the Rite of Acceptance, and have officially begun their journey of preparation for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation. They were given a special blessing from Msgr. and the entire MC community joined in prayer as we support them along their path to full Communion with Christ and His Church.
