    Fall Sports Begin

    Fall Sports have varying start dates with the first ones beginning on Monday, August 8. Some teams such as Football, Cheer, Basketball, Boys Soccer, Baseball, Volleyball, and Cross Country have summer workouts, so please connect with those individual coaches for more information. Tryouts last for five days. You will receive a follow-up email the first week of August, including specific dates, times, and locations for each sport. Additionally, you can check back on the specific team pages via the dropdown menu. Additional team information will be added to these pages as it becomes available.     Freshman Orientation: Day 1

    The first day of orientation will be a day full of fun activities for our newest Wildcats. More details will be available in early August.

    Freshman Parent Welcome and Coffee Event

    SJPII
    While new students are enjoying their orientation activities, parents are invited to come and learn about opportunities to get involved and support the MC community in the 2022-23 school year. Representatives from parent organizations, event leaders as well as members of our school staff, will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. This event is highly recommended (but not required) for new families. All returning families are also welcome to stop by. This is an informative and social morning at MC!

    Unlike other grade levels who will be zooming, freshman students will be ON CAMPUS for their first day of classes. This will allow our new students to find their classrooms and meet their teachers before they are joined on campus by the rest of our Wildcats!

    You won't want to miss this! The freshman class social will take place  from 6:30-8:30pm outside in freshman hall. It is a wonderful way for our new students to get to know their classmates here at MC. Please note that this social is for freshman students only. Our peer advisors will be present to welcome the Class of 2026.

    Time: 6:30pm - 8:30 (doors close at 7:00 and re-open at 8:15)
    Location: Frosh Hall (entrance near the Grotto steps)
    Cost: $5.00 with a canned food item; $7.00 without a canned food item
    Theme: Luau
    Attire (Dress Code): Hawaiian shirts encouraged (no tank tops or midriffs.) Grass skirts are permitted if worn over leggings or shorts at least mid-thigh. All bottoms must be at least mid-thigh. No low cut or revealing tops.

    At this time, we provide SAT dates to help families organize their schedules, but MC is not a location for ACT/SAT testing, even for those with accommodations of extra time.     Seniors: Christian Service Hours Due (100 Hours = 75 PIN and 25 other)

    Must have a total of ​100​ documented hours: 75 PIN hours (minimum) including completion of the 50 Hour Project; remaining 25 PIN or support hours.  If hours are not completed, you will be placed on AD (academic disqualification).

    Senior College Night for Parents

    SJPII Student Center
    This event is for parents/guardians of seniors. Counselors will review the application process, finding the right fit school, FAQs, and how to work with your child to help them through the process. The meeting will be held in the SJPII.

    Senior College Application Meeting

    SJPII Student Center
    Counselors will meet with ALL seniors in the SJPII Student Center to complete the matching process with Scoir and the Common Application. This meeting is absolutely necessary in order to connect these two systems for student documents (transcripts, letters of rec. etc) to be sent to colleges. If you have already created a Common App account, make sure you know your login and password! Please remember to bring your laptop.
