    Freshman Elections: PM CATS

    Frosh elections are mandatory and will take place during PM CATS.  Questions? Email Ms. Diego at bdiego@marincatholic.org with questions. 
     
    Freshmen run for general council. Once elected, the students will be assigned to activities, secretary, social media, fundraising or publicity.

    Club Rush: PM CATS

    Club Rush is during PM CATS. Tables will be set up in the Bell Tower Courtyard where students can learn about the variety of different clubs (i.e. Bee Club, Music with a Mission, Cancer Awareness, ECoMC, etc.) that MC offers and have an opportunity to sign up to join a club. Club Rush is open to all students, faculty, and staff.  This is an outdoor event.

    Freshman Academic Night for Parents

    The Freshman Academic Night for Parents is hosted by the Counseling Department and covers the nuts and bolts of freshman year. You will have the opportunity to meet the Counseling team, gain helpful tips on how to navigate MC Connect, and learn what your student can expect from their counselor to set them up for a successful year and future years at MC. Please note this event is for freshman parents only. We look forward to seeing you there!

    Homecoming Rally #1

    The Homecoming Rally is scheduled during PM CATS. This is a mandatory PM CATS period for all students. The MC students will come together to celebrate our MC community with cheers and games! The 2022-23 Homecoming Princesses will be revealed at this community rally.

    Virtual College Financial Aid Presentation for Junior & Senior Parents

    Join us for a detailed presentation with St. Mary's Associate Director of Financial Aid as they walk through the college financial aid process with an emphasis on how to assist families to file the FAFSA (the Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the meeting.
     

    High School Fair

    This program is recommended for eighth-grade students, accompanied by their parents, to gather information and listen to presentations by private/independent high schools.

    College Planning Night for Parents of Juniors

    SJPII Student Center
    This is the mandatory kickoff meeting for the College Search and Research Process for Juniors and Parents. Counselors will discuss ways students can start planning and preparing for this process during their junior year. Join us to learn more about how to start planning and preparing during your students' junior year!

    The Honors Assembly recognizes AP Scholars, Outstanding Student Scholarship Recipients, students who received Honors at Entrance, and current sophomores through seniors who have earned 4.0 or higher cumulative GPA while at MC.

    Sophomore Overnight Retreat #1

    The theme of this retreat is "Strengthening Your Core." The retreat participants will devote time to physically strengthening their cores with physical exercise and fun activities to mirror the time they will spend purifying and strengthening their inner cores with prayer, discussion, and reflection. This retreat is animated by Jesus’ example of taking time to nurture and strengthen Himself (Luke 5:16). Through prayer, group work, and personal reflection activities, retreat participants will be invited to a deeper relationship with themselves, God, one another, and the greater community.
