MC will celebrate our 2nd walkathon for Slave Liberation in South Sudan on April 13. Keer Deng of the 2013 Freedom Walk will return to walk with us and Joel Vanderspek of Christian Solidarity International will join as well. This year we are supporting Keer's dream to build a school in South Sudan. He was inspired by our success in fundraising for two school buildings in Fr. Samuel's parish in Uganda, and wanted other freed youth to have an opportunity for education, as he has.
So we ask you to volunteer to walk and get sponsors! If you reach a total of $150, you will get a photo of the actual person you helped CSI free in the Summer of 2019 slave rescue mission.
All proceeds from the Lenten Drive, Walk, and dinner will be shared by both non-profits.
