What Experience Ghana’s rarely-visited Volta province as you partner with a local community to learn about the impacts - positive, and negative - of ecotourism, and the conservation work paired to mitigate impact and protect the traditional culture and endemic species of this region. Learn about the local way of life in your partner village, and contribute your time and work to supporting this village’s identified needs. Experience the diversity of Ghanaian culture, with traditional music and dance, Mona monkeys and a West African safari to see monkeys, antelope and savanna birds.  There will also be waterfalls, hikes, expansive views, and more! This program provides the perfect mix of history, culture, and outdoor adventure.

Passport Requirement: (By December 15, 2023 the Student must either provide a Passport valid through December 2024 OR provide proof of application for Passport.  Failure to do so will jeopardize their spot on the trip.)
