On December 7-9th MC Live showcased the creativity of Marin Catholic's theater department with a three-night show that was written, directed, produced, and presented entirely by MC students.
Over 15 Marin Catholic students and parents served food and fellowship to our brothers and sisters in need at Glide Memorial in San Francisco on Friday, December 5.
On Friday, November 17, we welcomed our Marin Catholic grandparents and special friends to MC’s annual Thanksgiving Mass, followed by a special reception with iced tea and treats hosted by President Navone and Monsignor Sheeran in the Saint John Paul II Student Center.
Once per month, Honors 3 & Photo 2 students explore nearby areas off campus for photo shoots. Getting off campus with fellow photo students helps to provide more interesting backdrops and varied lighting conditions to support furthering photography skills.
On Saturday, November 4, over 350 MC parents, past parents, alumni and friends gathered for cocktails and sampling cuisines from some of the top chefs and vintners in the Bay Area at our fall fundraiser, the MC Gala.
Allison Areias-Vogel ‘82, who is currently serving our country as Consul General in Quebec City Canadian Quebec, was on the MC Campus in October to speak to our students about her career in the State Department and to provide information to our students who are considering a career in Law or work in the Foreign Service.
A group of 11 high school students from Milan, Italy came to Marin in September to visit and collaborate with the Marin Catholic Italian program. The students are from a linguistic high school in Northern Italy and had been sharing cultural projects for almost a year with the higher level Italian classes.
American Legion Boys State and Girls State are among the most respected and selective educational program of government instruction for US high school students; i.e. a participatory program in which students become part of the operation of local, county and state government.

Each spring as the school year winds down, our MC community gathers to honor colleagues marking career “milestones” at our school --- significant anniversaries, from 5 years up to and including several men and women who have been at the work for 40 years (and still counting!).
The MC community celebrated the Sacraments of Initiation at Star of the Sea Parish in Sausalito on Saturday, April 29th at a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Cordileone, along with Star of the Sea Pastor Mike Quinn and our Marin Catholic chaplain Monsignor Sheeran.
On Friday, April 28 approximately 20 freshmen and their parents volunteered to host a spring carnival at the Warner Creek senior apartment community. While there, the student volunteers got to know and bond with many of the residents enjoying lunch, gardening, bingo and a raffle.
As a result of this year's Lenten Drive, Marin Catholic raised over $8,000 for Uganda in the spirit of Poverty Inc. Organized by Mr. Tassone, this was the 16th year in MC has helped raise money for those in need.
On April 6th and 7th the Performing Arts Department presented their Spring Concert Series: Past, Present, Future. The two-night concert series featured a variety of acts, highlighting music from Traditional Sacred Music to Jazz Fusion.
This spring, the MC Performing Arts Department produced the musical Little Women! 40 dedicated students participated in the cast, tech crew, and orchestra to create a heartwarming and beautiful production.
The annual Auction & Fashion Show was held on Saturday, March 11. Thank you again to all of our volunteers that helped make our annual event a huge success!
In February, over 400 moms and their sons attended the annual mother son Dance. Our Saint John Paul II Student Center was transformed into a Monte Carlo Casino and dancing venue.
Each semester in Mr. Ward's marine science class, students complete hands-on semester projects about any marine topic of their choice. Although there is a research component to this project, actually getting outside and getting your feet "wet" is the focus.
