The 2024 Fall Season
CONGRATULATIONS & WELCOME TO THE INCOMING FRESHMAN CLASS OF 2028!
We welcome both new and experienced players to our program. Field Hockey is a running sport, so be prepared for the conditioning requirements. There are several opportunities to play before 9th grade and highly encouraged, as we have to plan for cuts due to field space/roster limitations and the size of our coaching staff.
AUGUST PRE-SEASON TRAINING UPDATE
For the week of August 5th, we plan to hold mandatory tryouts from 3:30-5:30 pm each day. The following week, August 12th, we will start JV/Varsity Team practice from 3:30-5:30 pm, including the first day of school on August 16th.
MCAL SEASON SCHEDULE

Note—this is MCAL only, and the dates are not finalized. We will be adding non-league games and will have at least one Saturday Play Day in August, September, and/or October.
SUMMER CAMP OPPORTUNITIES
Marin/SF Camps
Next Level Camps - we have expanded the camp to include 7th through 12th grade and it will be a great opportunity to play and be coached by me and graduating seniors. Lots of skill-building, small-sided games, and scrimmaging.
Club Field Hockey and Summer Camps - info will be updated ongoing
JULY/AUGUST - Rippers is offering two July camps this summer: one for incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and one for high school players. The first half of practice will cover stick skills and drills, followed by two 25-minute halves of scrimmages (so attendance is very important). The goal is to provide a lot of competitive playing time to prepare players for gameplay and to have fun! There are limited spots available to give everyone ample scrimmage time.
