Photography Field Trips
Once per month, Honors 3 & Photo 2 students explore nearby areas off campus for photo shoots. Getting off campus with fellow photo students helps to provide more interesting backdrops and varied lighting conditions to support furthering photography skills.

Last month, students took environmental portraits at Robson-Harrington Park in San Anselmo. E block's day was brilliant sunshine, creating drama but also casting potentially unwanted shadows. Parasols, silk cloth, and even umbrellas were used to work with the light. D block, on the other hand, was a soft, overcast, diffused light... a perfect scenario for naturally beautiful photographs. A pair of young twins (about 3 years old) approached with their parents, asking if we would photograph them. The results were stunning and offered an unexpected twist to the day. You just never know what kind of adventure awaits in Ms. R's photography classes!
