Nic Meringolo Attends Grammy Camp in Summer of 2018

Music has always been a part of Nic’s life. He plays several instruments, including guitar and piano, and sings as well. The opportunity to attend Grammy Camp in the summer was one that could assist in setting him on his desired track in the music business. The program offers focuses in eight major categories, ranging from production and business management to songwriting and performing. Nic worked especially to improve his songwriting skills, commenting that “being a part of the songwriting tack gave me the opportunity to make deep connections with the people who I wrote with. We immediately opened up to each other and wrote some really personal lyrics that lead us to great music” Marin Catholic strives to encourage its students to advance in areas about which they are passionate, and Nic serves as a prime example of the success and opportunity one may find when demonstrating real dedication to pursuing his or her passion.
