An integral part of the education experience at Marin Catholic includesthe Christian Service graduation requirement, which has students live out the school mission of “Duc In Altum” in their community. Our Christian Service program challenges students to embrace Mother Teresa’s example of, “doing small things with great love.” The program combines students putting their love into action while serving those in need in their communities, followed by reflection and discussion in classrooms and on retreats. This allows for a deeper understanding of how to love Jesus, themselves, and others with mercy and compassion. Throughout the 4-year Christian Service program students complete an individual Encounter Project, as well as grade-level virtue service experiences. Students come to understand that
“Christian Service is not something we do, it is who we are.”
